Title

Vote to approve Cats and Coffee at the Justice Center on Wednesdays

Abstract

Introduction & Background: Dogs have been allowed on County property and in offices for many years, but cats have been left out. Staff have received complaints from employees who own cats, and they feel they deserve to bring their cats to their offices too. There is a divide between cat and dog employees.

Discussion & Analysis: Approving Cats and Coffee will bridge the divide between employees and bring about total harmony.

How does this relate to the Comprehensive Plan: This relates to Comp Goal 10 - making the county more resilient.

Budgetary Impact: $3,500 has been identified as available in the FY 24 operating budget to cover the cost of coffee, mugs, and lint rollers.

Recommendation/Motion: Motion to approve Cats and Coffee at the Justice Center on Thursdays.
