Action Requested: Set date for public hearing
Introduction and Background: The Chatham County Noise Ordinance has not been updated since 2006. Certain parts of the ordinance may not be enforceable and this update clarifies any discrepancies. The new draft replaces the 2006 ordinance in its entirety.
Discussion and Analysis: While a public hearing is not required, staff believes that one should be held so that citizens have a chance to voice their opinion.
