Chatham County Agriculture and Conference Center Policy Revisions
Abstract
Action Requested: Approve the latest revisions to the CCACC Policy
Introduction & Background: The Chatham County Agriculture and Conference Center (CCACC) Policy was approved at the November 14, 2016 BOC meeting. Staff has advised that additional revisions to the policy may be forthcoming based on reviewing current business patterns or trends. Staff has determined that the reservation timeframes for the various groups need to be revised to allow more time for groups to plan events. As a result, the revisions are as follows:
1. All events are subject to the security requirement (not just events involving alcohol)
2. Internal groups may reserve events up to 90 days in advance (instead of 30days) and Non-Profit groups may reserve events up to 6 months in advance(instead of 60 days).
