Recognition for Chatham County by the Center for Digital Government and the National Association of Counties

 

Abstract

Action Requested: Receive presentation

                     

Introduction & Background:  Each year the Center for Digital Government and NACo conduct a survey which is reviewed by a panel of experts.   Counties across the US who choose to submit the survey and application for consideration are judged regarding their effectiveness in use of technology to meet a wide variety of priority characteristics.  This presentation is to show recognition for Chatham County.

                     

Discussion & Analysis:  Chatham County has been recognized for effective technology use in support of many priority characteristics as determined by independent review.

 

How does this relate to the Comprehensive Plan:  Recognizes the overall comprehensive plan from the perspective of our County providing strategic planning and open government.  The plan itself also had information to support answers to the survey questionnaire.
