Discussion of Annex Facade Improvements.
Abstract
Action Requested:
Discuss whether it is practical to have Hobbs Architects explore design concepts for the North Facade and North Courtyard of the Chatham County Annex Building in order to have the information back for CIP.
Introduction & Background:
There have been many discussions in the past about whether the Annex should be torn down or renovated. Some people have commented that the building is not clearly marked and it is confusing locating the Annex. The question is whether the County should go ahead and have a study done to determine the cost of the design concepts for the North Facade and North Courtyard, or not spend funds, until a determination can be made of the whether the Annex will remain or be torn down.
