Action Requested: Motion to approve light installation on the Multi-Purpose field at the Northeast District Park
Introduction & Background: We have many organizations that have requested field use. This will allow more field use hours for the public. These lights will be through Sourcewell purchase.
Discussion & Analysis: A lot of organizations and the general public have not been able to use our fields due to lack of field availability because we can’t offer them field use after dark.
How does this relate to the Comprehensive Plan: Provide recreational opportunities and access to open space.
Budgetary Impact: $213,292.00 Funds from the CIP Project
Recommendation: Approve light installation on the Multi-Purpose field at the Northeast District Park.
