Action Requested:
Presentation of a resolution in support of updating the County's Land Use Plan approved by the Planning Board.
Introduction & Background:
During the November 5, 2013 Planning Board meeting, the board approved the attached resolution in support of an update the County's Land Conservation and Development Plan.
Discussion & Analysis:
During the October 1, 2013 Planning Board meeting a subcommittee was created to discuss several items that were submitted by a board member for consideration. The subcommittee was tasked with providing a recommendation to the Planning Board by their January 2014 meeting. The subcommittee met on October 28, 2013 and approved a recommendation to consider an update to the county land use plan. The full board considered the request and approved the attached resolution for consideration by the Board of Commissioners.
Recommendation:
Receive resolution and provide direction to staff.
