Abstract
Introduction & Background: Chatham County constructed a radio tower at the Northeast District Park for the public safety radio system upgrade project. The towers were engineered to allow additional carriers and equipment to collocate on the towers or on the grounds within the fence compound. Verizon Wireless would like to place equipment at this tower site to provide wireless coverage for the area.
Discussion & Analysis: The radio towers were constructed to allow for this intended purpose and there is no adverse impact on the public safety radio system or the county.
