Discussion & Analysis: On the event of a member of the Chatham County Sheriff Office retirement, their assigned side arm and badge has been presented to them pursuant to NCGS Chapter 17F-20.
Mike Roberson served the Sheriff's Office in numerous leadership roles before being appointed sheriff in 2016 and subsequently elected by the citizens of Chatham County in 2018 and 2022. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated exceptional commitment to public safety, professional excellence and service to the community.
