Action Requested: Motion to approve new project ordinance as proposed by staff
Introduction & Background: Section 13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina states that a project ordinance shall be adopted by the governing board for all capital projects.
Discussion & Analysis: Attached is a proposed project ordinance for the Northwood Auditorium HVAC Replacement Project. The project ordinance reflects the estimates presented in the FY2017-2023 Capital Improvements Program.
Budgetary Impact: The budget for the Northwood Auditorium HVAC Replacement Project totals $165,000 and is funded with a transfer from the Capital Reserve Fund.
Recommendation: Motion to approve project ordinance as proposed by staff.
