Abstract
Introduction & Background: Vote to approve the purchase of a Mack Roll-off Refuse Truck in the amount of $245,105.00 on State Contract NC070E.
Discussion & Analysis: This purchase will benefit the department by replacing a Roll-Off Truck with over 420,000 miles. A truck with this many miles is prone to longer downtime and higher cost due to maintenance issues.
How does this relate to the Comprehensive Plan: Provide infrastructure to support desired development as well as economic and environmental objectives.
Budgetary Impact: The funds are included in the Solid Waste and Recycling FY 24 Capital Outlay Budget.
Recommendation/Motion: Vote to approve the purchase of a Mack Roll-Off Refuse Truck with included extended warranty which is included in the amount of $245,105.00 on State Contract NC070E.
