Action Requested: Vote on a request to approve appointments to the Recreation Advisory Committee
Introduction & Background: The Recreation Advisory Committee currently has three vacancies and two members are also up for reappointment.
Discussion & Analysis: Commissioner Hales wishes to appoint Joy Hewett and Anne Geer to represent District 3. Both Ms. Hewett’s and Ms. Geer’s terms will expire June 30, 2024.
Commissioner Howard wishes to appoint Maria Gomez Flores to represent District 1. Ms. Gomez Flores will fill an unexpired term ending June 30, 2022.
Commissioner Crawford wishes to reappoint Andrew George to represent District 4. Commissioner Dasher wishes to reappoint Megan Lynch to represent District 2. Mr. George and Ms. Lynch are eligible for reappointment with terms expiring on June 30, 2024.
