Action Requested: Vote on request to approve a utility and pipeline easement to the Town of Cary and authorize Renee Paschal, County Manager, to sign the easement on behalf of the County.
Introduction & Background: The town of Cary is moving forward with upgrades to infrastructure at the Water treatment Facility in Wake County and the raw water pump station on the eastern shore of Jordan Lake in Chatham County.
Discussion & Analysis: The proposed raw water line will cross a portion of property owned by the county along highway 64. Cary is requesting a permanent utility easement of 2,730 square feet and a temporary construction easement of 606 square feet.
