Discussion & Analysis: This is a request to approve the road resolution revision for the addition of 0.35 mile of Seaforth Preserve Drive in the Seaforth Preserve Subdivision, Plat Book 2021, Page 199.
How does this relate to the Comprehensive Plan: The Chatham County Comprehensive Plan calls for a thoughtful, diverse, and resilient roadway system to serve the county. In the state of North Carolina, the transportation planning process is heavily dependent upon the State of North Carolina’s Department of Transportation for guidance, maintenance of county roads, and long-range transportation plans. Cooperating and continuing a positive relationship with NCDOT is crucial to the future development of Chatham County’s Road system.
