Action Requested: Vote on a request to approve the FY2023 Agreement between Chatham County and the Chatham County Council on Aging and authorize the County Manager to execute the Agreement.
Introduction & Background: The Chatham County Council on Aging will be transitioning to a County department over the course of the fiscal year 2022-2023. This agreement outlines the relationship between the Council and the County during that transition period.
Discussion & Analysis: This agreement addresses the transfer of employees, operating, revenue and capital assets. It also details the relationship between loaned county employees and the council on aging. This agreement is only for the fiscal year 2023.
