Vote to approve an agreement with Central Carolina Community College a joint-use of the Chatham Community Library
Abstract
Introduction & Background: On June 19, 2006 the Chatham County Board of Commissioners approved the Joint-Use Library Inter-Institutional Agreement which governs the arrangement between Central Carolina Community College (CCCC) and Chatham County for operation of the joint-use Chatham Community Library.
Discussion & Analysis: Chatham County and CCCC meet regularly to review and make updates to the agreement.
How does this relate to the Comprehensive Plan: Provide equitable access to high-quality education, housing and community options for all.
Budgetary Impact: Chatham County and CCCC have a cooperative agreement in which CCCC reimburses Chatham County for the personnel costs related to the reference staff and Chatham County pays the college actual expenses associated with maintenance.
Recommendation/Motion: Motion to approve an agreement with Central Carolina Community College a joint-use of the Chatham Community Library.
