Vote to Approve the Social Services Software Project Ordinance
Introduction & Background:
Section 13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina states that a project ordinance shall be adopted by the governing board for all capital projects.
Discussion & Analysis:
Attached is a proposed project ordinance for the Social Services Software Project approved in the 2017-2023 Capital Improvements Program. Staff anticipates that additional revenue will be required for FY 18. This revision is due to discrepancies between what was originally estimated and what was approved by NC Division of Social Services.
Budgetary Impact:
The total budget for the project is $293,865 and consists of funding from the Capital Reserve, General Fund balance, and state and federal revenue. An additional contribution of $40,546 for FY 18 will be needed and will be reflected in the upcoming 2018-2024 CIP.
