Vote to approve appointment to the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC)
Abstract
Introduction & Background: Lateef Mitchell has been nominated and accepted by the council to serve as one of the at-large “County Commissioner Appointee” positions.
Mr. Mitchell has worked for the past three years as the “Student Community Support Liaison” out of the District Court Judges’ Office. He works with disadvantaged youth in Orange and Chatham Counties. He has been a regular attendee at our JCPC meetings.
Discussion & Analysis: The JCPC requests the Chatham County Board of Commissioners approve the appointment of Lateef Mitchell.
