Action Requested:
Introduction & Background: Mr. Ernest Parker, a member of the Board of Commissioners, Chatham County Housing Authority, is resigning from the Chatham County Housing Authority’s Board of Commissioners. The Board is recommending Ms. Nikia Jefferies, the Education Navigator with Central Carolina Community College. Ms. Jefferies has extensive experience with serving the residents of Chatham County through her agency’s program and services at the Community College and would be an asset to the Chatham County Housing Authority’s Board. The Board is recommending that Ms. Jefferies be appointed to fulfill Mr. Parker’s remaining term (Term ends June 2025).
