Introduction & Background: Solstice Partners will not be requesting any funding on May 16th, rather they would like the Board of Commissioners to authorize the County Manager’s Office to work with Solstice Partners and other non-profit organizations such as Mitchell Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church to evaluate the best options to work with Chatham County and the Town of Pittsboro to achieve a successful application with the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency in 2017 and thus deliver more affordable housing options for Pittsboro and Chatham County.
The local consultants on the team will include Taylor Hobbs of Hobbs Architects and Mark Ashness of the CE Group and they intend to work with CCCC and the NC Housing Coalition as well.
