Abstract

Action Requested: Vote on a request to approve $3,000 Association of Food and Drug Officials (AFDO) Retail Program Standards Grant Program Funds (G-SP-1810-06854)

 

                     

Introduction & Background: As part of being enrolled in the FDA Voluntary National Retail Food Program Standards, Chatham County Environmental Health was able to apply and receive an AFDO grant for training of staff.

                     

Discussion & Analysis: The funding will be used to send one staff member to the NEHA Conference in Nashville, Tennessee in July 2019.

 

How does this relate to the Comprehensive Plan: Goal: Foster a Healthy Community, Strategy 2.2.

                     

Budgetary Impact: No Local Funding Requested
