Introduction & Background: The North Carolina state budget includes funding support for communicable disease programs at local health departments.
These funds were originally accepted in FY22, and these remaining funds are requested to be added to the FY24 budget. The Chatham County Public Health Department will receive these roll-over funds of $188,934 in FY24, which were previously accepted in the budget.
