Abstract

Discussion & Analysis: This grant will fund, in part, the construction of over a mile of natural surface trail outside of the flood plain as well as the design, permitting and construction of a boardwalk and steps and standing pad at an existing paddle access at the 15/501 location.

How does this relate to the Comprehensive Plan: This project will provide recreational opportunities and access to open space, provide equitable access to high quality community options for all, and support the goal of fostering a healthy community.

Budgetary Impact: This is a reimbursement grant, which means the county will pay up front for the project via ARPA enabled funds in the general fund. Reimbursements will be submitted quarterly.
