Introduction & Background: A bid was completed for mowing services for three departments (Facilities, Solid Waste and Recycling, and Parks and Recreation). Bids are sought on a cycle of three years, provided the contractor is performing satisfactorily. The mowing season is approximately July 1, 2025 to November 30, 2025, and March 1, 2026 to June 30, 2026, or about 38 weeks. The estimated total is based on 38 weeks of mowing based on individual department’s requirements.

Budgetary Impact: The estimated annual calculation is $223,345; if the contract is performed satisfactorily, the three-year estimate will be $670.035. All funds will be budgeted for FY26 operating expenses across the three departments.
