Abstract
Introduction & Background: A SIP license authorizes data routing over the internet using the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). The library needs two SIP licenses for the Remote Locker Project so patrons can retrieve library materials.
Discussion & Analysis: An automated self-service reservations kiosk extends the reach, capability and service provision of the library. The remote lockers provide patrons with the opportunity pick up library materials at their convenience, including outside of library operating hours.
How does this relate to the Comprehensive Plan: The project aids in providing equitable access to high quality education, and community options for all.
Budgetary Impact: The cost for 2 SIP Licenses is $410.00 which was budgeted for this project.
