Abstract
Action Requested: Adoption of a resolution designating Vicki McConnell as primary agent and Hope Tally as secondary agent and authorizing them to execute and file applications on behalf of the County for Federal and State Assistance under the Robert T. Safford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act.
Discussion & Analysis: The County has recently been declared eligible for reimbursement from Federal and State sources for expenses incurred related to Hurricane Matthew. In order to receive funds the County will need to designate a primary and secondary agent that will be authorized to execute and file applications for federal and state assistance on behalf of the County. Attached is the resolution designating Vicki McConnell, Deputy County Manager/Finance Officer as the Primary Agent and Hope Tally, Financial Operations Manager as Secondary Agent.
