Action Requested: Award Estrada the EOQ Award
Introduction & Background: Alberto Estrada was nominated for Employee of the Quarter as a result of his actions on a call for a well-being check in the area of Jordan Lake near Farrington Road, on April 28, 2015. He was able to locate a suicidal female, standing on the bank of the lake. The female spoke to him advising him that she wanted to do harm to herself by drowning herself in the lake. The female jumped into the lake before he could get close to her, and she was attempting to swim out into the deeper water. His action of jumping into the lake in full uniform, gave you the ability to catch the female before she swam away, and allowed you to pull her back to the shore, and removing the female from serious life threatening danger.
