Abstract

Action Requested: Vote on a request to adopt a resolution proclaiming April 4 through April 10 as Public Health Week.

                     

Introduction & Background: April 4-10 is National Public Health Week, and counties across North Carolina are acknowledging the hard work of local public health departments by making this proclamation locally as well.

 

 

Discussion & Analysis: Local public health staff have faced an unprecedented two years battling the COVID-19 pandemic and have shown tremendous resolve in the face of this challenge. This proclamation will acknowledge their hard work and show support as they continue to promote health and equity in Chatham County.
