Vote to approve the amended American Rescue Plan Funds Grant Project Ordinance
Abstract
Introduction & Background: Section 13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina states that a project ordinance shall be adopted by the governing board for all capital projects. Now, with identified projects for the American Rescue Plan Funds, this updated grant project ordinance will provide the budgetary authority to spend a portion of these funds.
Discussion & Analysis: Attached is an amended grant project ordinance for the American Rescue Plan Funds project. The ordinance reflects changes approved by the Board of Commissioners such as the recent allocation for the CAB grant program.
