Action Requested: Vote to Approve the Chatham County Travel Policy
Introduction & Background: This policy represents a combination of the travel, fleet, and driver policy into one cohesive policy. It governs who may operate a county vehicle, the conditions by which they are to be operated, and guidelines for traveling on county business. Many of these rules and guidelines exist in independent policies currently. This policy was developed with input from management, the safety committee, and our liability insurance carrier.
