Abstract
Action Requested: Approve the recommended amendments to the Advisory Committee Policy Addendum to update information related to the Recreation Advisory Committee.
Introduction & Background: The proposed amendments address two issues:
• The Chatham Parks Foundation has been dissolved. The Recreation Advisory Committee currently has an ad hoc voting seat assigned to the Parks Foundation. The amendment would remove that seat from the composition of the committee.
• The committee does not necessarily meet every month. Throughout the year, they typically meet 4 to 6 times a year. The amendment would clarify that meeting schedule.
