Abstract
Introduction & Background: Phase 2 of the Chatham County Agriculture and Conference is an approved project in the FY2026-2032 Capital Improvements Plan and includes the expansion of the outdoor amenities on the west side of the building.
Discussion & Analysis: Carolina Commercial Contractors (CCC) is the selected contractor and have a number of projects of this nature in their portfolio, including the current project to design and construct the new farmers market pavilion in Sanford, NC.
The total project budget is $6,334,801 with $500,000 budgeted for design in FY26. This design-build contract with CCC is for $343,531, well within the budgeted amount for FY26.
