Vote to amendment the County Fee Schedule for the addition of Historic Courthouse rental
Abstract
Introduction & Background: Occasionally, there are requests by individuals or groups to use the Historic Courthouse space for events. In order to make this space available, while also ensuring the Historic Courthouse continues to be well-maintained, Staff is recommending the addition of a fee for rental of the Historic Courthouse.
Discussion & Analysis: Staff recommends that the Board of Commissioners amend the currently approved County Fee Schedule to include a fee for rental of the Historic Courthouse. The following fee will be added to the County Fee Schedule upon approval and take effect immediately.

In addition to the Fee, anyone requesting rental of the Historic Courthouse would also be required to follow all other rules and regulations as provided to them prior to the rental of the space.
How does this relate to the Comprehensive Plan: This item does not directly relate to the Comprehensive Plan.
Budgetary Impact: There will be a marginal increase in the “Rent” revenue during the fiscal year. If that revenue account exceeds the budget during the course of FY 2024-2025, staff will bring a budget amendment for Board approval at a later date.
