Introduction & Background: Section 13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina states that a project ordinance shall be adopted by the governing board for all capital projects.
Discussion & Analysis: Attached is a proposed project ordinance for the Margaret Pollard Middle School Expansion Project for the addition of two 6-classroom pods. The project ordinance reflects the estimates presented in the FY2024-2030 Approved Capital Improvements Program.
Budgetary Impact: The budget for the Margaret Pollard Middle School Expansion Project totals $2,000,000 and will be funded with the general capital reserves.
