Vote on a Request to Approve the Amendment to the Fiscal Year 2022 Audit Contract with Martin Starnes & Associates.
Abstract
Introduction & Background: Due to the transitioning of staff in Finance during FY2022, it was decided to contract out the writing of the financials. Due to the implementation of GASB 87 (Lease Accounting Standards) along with outsourcing the writing of the financials this year, it has required additional time for preparation and review by staff prior to submission.
Discussion & Analysis: The amendment will allow for an extension of submission until December 31, 2022.

Budgetary Impact: There are no fees associated with the amendment, so there is no impact on the budget.
