Abstract
Action Requested: Approve the purchase of required networking equipment for the new EOC building totaling $200,750.03.
Introduction & Background: The new EOC building project currently in the CIP includes a requirement for networking & IT equipment to be installed within the data center at this building. The quotes received from ePlus are utilizing NC state contract 204X and will provide the required network connectivity and server capabilities to operate an Emergency Operations Center of this size.
Discussion & Analysis: MIS worked with stakeholders at EOC & EM, the IT consultant for the project (MCP), and ePlus to identify the information technology hardware that would provide the level of connectivity & resiliency desired for this project.

Budgetary Impact: $200,750.03 funded from the EOC CIP budget in FY23. Industry standard support agreements for some of the technology components will be requested in the MIS continuation budget for FY24 and beyond.
