Action Requested: Motion to adopt the proposed Radio System Upgrade Project Ordinance
Introduction & Background: Section 13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina states that a project ordinance shall be adopted by the governing board for all capital projects.
Discussion & Analysis: Attached is a proposed project ordinance for the Radio System Upgrade. The project ordinance reflects the estimates presented in the FY2023-2029 Approved Capital Improvements Program. This amount is being reduced to reflect a transfer of $557,718 to the E-911 fund.
Budgetary Impact: The budget for the Radio System Upgrade Project totals $21,747,126 and is funded with grant funds and borrowed funds.
