Vote to approve the contract allowing Indoff, Inc. to furnish and install all labor and materials for the furniture required for the new Emergency Operations Center project.

 

ABSTRACT

 

Action Requested: Vote on a request to approve the contract allowing Indoff, Inc. to furnish and install all labor and materials for the furniture required for the new Emergency Operations Center project.

 

Introduction & Background: Chatham County is constructing a new Emergency Operations Center that will require an assortment of new furniture for the project.  Indoff, Inc. participates in the NC 420A State Contract pricing program and it is requested that the BOC approve their contract for this work.

Discussion & Analysis: It is being requested that the BOC approve the contract allowing Indoff, Inc. to furnish and install all labor and materials for the furniture for the new Emergency Operations Center project.  Indoff, Inc. has performed very well on previous projects for Chatham County.

 

How does this relate to the Comprehensive Plan:  7. Provide infrastructure to support desired development; 8. Become more resilient; BOC Goal - Ensure public safety through adequate resources, plans, and partnerships.

 

Budgetary Impact:  This project is proceeding in accordance with the budget as established with the Manager’s Office, Budget and Finance Office for the project. Cost for the furniture contract will be $243,484.05.

 

Recommendation: Approve the contract allowing Indoff, Inc. to furnish and install all labor and materials for the furniture required for the new Emergency Operations Center project.
